PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT MEETING

As part of the long-range Capital Improvement Program, the City of Edgerton, in collaboration with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, has scheduled this road improvement project to be completed in 2022.

The proposed improvements have been evaluated during the design process. Improvements of a reconstruction alternative along the entire South Main Street corridor are anticipated to include:

  • Full replacement of the pavement structure and widening to accommodate travel lanes, bike lanes, and parking lane(s)

  • Replacement of curb and gutter

  • Replacement of sidewalks on both sides of street

  • Installation of storm sewer.

  • Inclusion of traffic calming items (bumpouts, speed tables)

To better inform you about this project, and to solicit feedback, the City will be hosting a public involvement meeting/open house for the project. You’re invited and encouraged to attend!
