Parks & Trails

Racetrack Park  is located on the northwest side of the City and is named after the horse races that were held there many years ago.  Its expansive acres offer baseball & softball diamonds, soccer fields, playground equipment and plenty of room to run.

Edgerton Community Gardens are located on Lyons St. Try your green thumb in varying sizes of plots. These are first come, first serve so register today.

Central Park  is located in the heart of the city. Running through the park is a portion of the City's bike path along with basketball courts, play structure for children, picnic tables, and benches to relax.

Edgerton Aquatic Center is equipped with a zero entry pool, lap pool, diving boards, and waterslide. Learn to swim or just relax by the pool. This center is ready for fun for all ages.

Rock River Trail, a scenic and historic route will be running through Edgerton. A River of Opportunities for all interests. Drive it, hike it, bike it!

Park Reservations

Need a shelter for your next event? Park Reservations for the Racetrack Park Shelter can be made at the Edgerton City Hall or calling 608-884-3341.

Open Space Dog Park  Located inside Edgerton's beautiful north business park off of Interstate Boulevard, let your dog run in open area dog park. There is no registration fee. All dogs must be licensed.

Friends of Edgerton's Dog Park  New in 2016! This fenced in dog park is located on Winston Drive. 

Winston Drive Park Located on the westside of the city on Winston Drive.  The park features a climber, small slide and swing set that will hold four children, in-ground benches, and picnic tables. This park is home to the Friends of Edgerton Dog Park, an enclosed dog park area.

Kienbaum Park Located on the northeast side of the city with an entrance at the intersection of E Ladd Lane and Dean Street.  It features a small climber with slides and swing set that will hold four children.  Benches and picnic tables are set around the park for lots of family fun.  

St. John's Park Located on the southside of the city off of Melody Lane this park has something for everyone. It features a Dinosaur double slide, small dome climber, swing set, basketball area with regulation hoop and backboard, baseball/softball backstop, benches, picnic table, and large open grassy area.

Orchard Heights Park Located on the southside of the City in the Orchard Heighs subdivision.  The play area is located on the corner of Martha Street and Lorraine Drive with a regulation size soccer field.  The play area features multiple climbers with slides including a rock wall and ladder style.  The swing set will hold four children and is situated next to the covered picnic areas complete with tables.

Windfield Park  Located on the southwest side of the city in the Windfield subdivision with the play area along Hain Road. It features multiple climbers, balance beam, buck-a-bout, honeycomb climber, swing set and a large basketball area with regulation hoop and backboard. Stay for the fun with a covered picnic shelter with picnic tables. 

Fish Pond Park Located just to the south of downtown at the end of West Lawton Street this area features an ADA accessible fishing pier with a large catch and release fishing pond.  A covered shelter, picinic tables, benches and a port-a-potty make it a place to stay all day.

West Meadows Park Located on the westside of the city at the corner of West Fulton Street and Menhall Drive.  This park is a natural wooded area with scenic walking trails. 

Whispering Pines Park Located on the soutside of the city in the Whispering Pines subdivision. Access to the park is on Dakota Street.  This park is a natural wooded area. 

Dickinson Park Located on the northside of the city.  It is at the intersection of Dickinson Avenue, George Avenue, and West Hubert Street.  It features a small climber with slides, mni whirl, swing set, and a basketball area.  This are picnic tables with a shelter.
