Edgerton Shared Ride Taxi 

The Shared-Ride service will be provided on a shared ride basis. This means that vehicles may be routed to pick up or drop off passengers enroute to other passenger's origins or destinations so as to allow a greater number of passengers to be carried with available vehicles. The use of shared ride should be limited if it will create excessive travel times for passengers.

Fares: Adults 18-59 $3.50, Seniors over 59 $2.50, Handicapped $2.50, Student 6-17 $2.25, Child (under 6) is free, Wait Time $.20/min, Grocery Bags $.25/each, Mileage $2.25/mile (beyond city limits), Additional Riders $2.00, and Deliveries $9.00.

Rock County Specialized Transit

Rock County provides specialized transportation services designed for use by elderly or disabled persons. To be eligible for specialized transit services, an individual must be at least 55 years of age, or be disabled. Transportation services are provided to all areas within Rock County in Mini buses that are equipped to handle wheelchairs. If you need a ride to a medical appointment outside of Rock County, please refer to the RIDES program.

Trips within your own community (Example: Beloit-to-Beloit or Janesville-to-Janesville)

Trips to another community (Example: Beloit-to-Janesville or Edgerton-to-Janesville)

One way trip: $6.00 / ride - or -Purchase a ticket package: $60.00 (10 rides @ $6.00 / ride)
